Which Way Are The Slopes?

I'll be linking to Vintage Thingy Thursday hosted by Suzanne at Colorado Lady.

In keeping with the spirit of winter.  I would like to show you my pick for this weeks Vintage Thingy Thursday.
I bought these ceramic skiers a few years back.  I thought they were sweet.  They're both planters but I couldn't  imagine where you would put the plant?  The planter is so small in the back.  Nonetheless...I really like their detail and colors.

Great find. They definitely have a vintage, skier look to them. They're perfect without plants.

Your skiers are really cute! Maybe you could put pencils or pens in the back. That might be cute.

I think those planters could very well be the cutest I've seen! Maybe they could hold pencils? I've been snooping through your blog, and I love it, so now I'm a follower!
Happy VTT!

These are really sweet...different than most ceramic planters....perhaps they are for something other than greenery???

Such cute skiers! I cannot believe that they are planters....I guess for skinny plants :)

Great looking skiers!...I think I'd use a frog and put some cut flowers in them! Very cool looking!

I wonder what kind of plant they would hold...maybe an air plant.

My Daughter would love them. She has vintage skis and poles hanging on her wall and these would go perfect.

Amy, these are fabulous! Are they made in Germany? I have always admired the vintage skier ceramics. You have a lovely set!

Thank you for trying my Nanny's chocolate pudding. She is smiling at you for that!
