Thank you Susan from A Southern Daydreamer for hosting another fun Outdoor Wednesday!
Over Labor Day weekend we had perfect weather to bid summer farewell. It really could not of been more beautiful. I hope you enjoy the last images of summer I'll be sharing with you this year. They were taken in Lake Placid, NY strolling along Mirror Lake up in the beautiful Adirondacks. Sad to see summer go but for every season that ends a new one begins. I look forward to autumn and all that it will bring. Click on the pictures for a larger view. Sorry the pictures are right on top of each other. I don't know why this happens. I usually like to leave a space between each image but sometimes it doesn't let me. If anyone has had the same thing happen to them and knows how to fix it... I would love to hear. ~amy

Lovely outdoors! Back here in the
West Coast we are still in our 90's. I love the Fall, especially when the the leaves change their colors. The place looks so relaxing.

These are gorgeous photos. I'd love to visit this part of the US sometime. Thanks for the visit to my place. Hope to see you again sometime. Happy Fall! ~ Sarah
How beautiful, I bet fall will be lovely also.
Great photos. I love purple cone flowers. The photo of the kayaks is wonderful. What is that beautiful white building?
Very pretty...I was born in the Adirondacks. I don't remember a thing though because we moved away while I was still a toddler.

It's the end of summer, for sure. That mansion (house?) looks beautiful. What is the name of the place?

Absolutely beautiful!
Hi Amy,
Your pictures are so pretty even one right on top of the other! That happens to me at times. Just go to the tab next to Compose...it should say edit HTML and find where each picture is. It usually starts with < a and ends with a >
Put your cursor behind the a> and hit enter enter and that will leave a space where you can enter comments or just leave the space. Hope that helps. I'm not pc techie, but I know a teeny tiny bit about html :-)
What beautiful, beautiful pictures. You are so lucky to have a piece of property there.
Hi! omg! what a cute pics!
I love this house!
xoxo
What a gorgeous spot. Your photos of it are wonderful. I hope you are having a great day.
Very, very beautiful! I have never been to the Adirondacks, but I love lakes and mountains, and I always enjoy pictures of them. What a beautiful building, too. I am sure summer will be leaving us very soon, too. Hugs, Cindy S.
Hi...beautiful pictures...hint...If you download windows live writer and use it to blog...you'll have a lot more control of your blog...I love it and I would hate to go back to using blogger again...Live writer is a free program...
beautiful pictures. I don't know why blogger does that with the photos. I usually upload them then copy and paste them in my post to where I want them to go, and it usually will let me just hit the enter button to leave a space.
These photos really capture a beautiful summer day! I especially like the boats. I have had the same spacing problem with both photos and paragraphs . . . if you have extra blank spaces at the end of the picture before you upload the next pic, it seems to work better. Will let you know if I ever get a real solution!
Hello, I haven't been here before. I love your beautiful outdoor pictures. Thank you for sharing.
Lovely pics!!!!I LOVE that house!
