I found this vintage salt and pepper shaker and I had to get it for the cottage. I thought it would be perfect! It amazes me the detail that went into vintage ceramic salt and pepper shakers. Can you imagine buying a salt and pepper shaker today that had such detail? I don't think you can? Look how vibrant the colors are. I know I said this salt and pepper shaker is for the cottage but until it's built...I have this piece displayed in my kitchen. Every time I look at these two Indians in their canoe...I smile. How can you not? ~amy

everything was made better in the old days, now everything is mass assemble and looks it.
Those are very cool salt and pepper shakers. I too am amazed at the detail on some of the old salt and pepper shaker sets that I see at antique stores.

How cute those are.
That will be a perfect addition to the cottage, although you make like it so much at your house that it never makes it to the cottage.
Such a cute salt and pepper for a cottage.
These are really cute. The detail on them really is amazing. You would have a field day at some of the shops on our town square! I saw something the other day that reminded me of the fabric you bought for the cottage, but darn it I didn't have my camera with me. Maybe I'll slip back over and see if it's still there. Hope you have a wonderful week. Kathy
Hello Amy, I love your photos of fall and your festive decorations. The Indian S & P's are adorable. It is cool here in the NC mountains too. I just made a big pot of soup.
I am still visiting th outdoors posts. So many posts and so little time.
Have a wonderful day.
Hugs...Jeanne
