Vintage Fabric

Thank you Suzanne from Colorado Lady for hosting Thrifty Thingy Thursday.
I had a very fun shopping trip. I was looking for finds to accessorize our cottage. In a previous post I already showed you the vintage horse prints shown here. I'd like to show you in greater detail the vintage retro fabric that I found that has an outdoor Canadian theme. We're not Canadian but our land that we'll be building our cottage on is 1hour from Quebec, Canada. I just about went crazy with excitment when I found it. I originally thought I would use it as a tablecloth but now I think it will make a cute window treatment for the kitchen. There are several different outdoor scenes printed on this piece of fabric. I took a picture of each scene separately for you to see. I can't get over how vibrant the colors are and the detail. Have you ever seen so many different graphics on one piece of fabric? I hope you think this fabric is as crazy cute as I do! ~amy

Each scene is just adorable, but you didn't mention that each one has a different flower name in it, so that makes it doubly cute! I love it, and it would make a sweet window treatment! Love that horsey picture too!
Happy VTT!

That is such cool fabric. I would hate to see it get sun bleached from hanging in a window. If I were going to use it for something instead of just saving it, I think throw pillows for a couch or chair would be fun.

Fantastic New England fabric! I must admit I've never seen vintage fabric with so many great scenes! It's almost as though it was intended to be a tablecloth! I think it will make wonderful curtains for your cottage!
Cheers!

Cool fabric! Love the plein air artist. I'm an artist and was supposed to paint today but it's raining out today in Atlanta. Nice post!

Why do these fabrics bring such warm, cozy feelings? I guess they transport us to our childhood (at least for me they do!)

I don't HAVE a cottage, but sometimes I see things that would be SOOOOOOO stinkin' cute IN one, that I WISH I did!
